For He has done wonders

by Jean-Louis Coraboeuf

"O sing a new song to the Lord, for He has done wonders [pala], His right hand and the arm of His holiness have worked salvation for Him" (Psalm 98:1 Interlinear).

The Hebrew word pala means marvel, miracle, wonder, beyond human capabilities. This miracle from God is the manifestation of His salvation [Yeshua] that unveiled His righteousness in the eyes of nations (Psalm 98:2). Indeed, He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the House of Israel, so that all the nations have seen His salvation [Yeshua] (Psalm 98:3).

Indeed, God so loved the world that He gave to His son, the right, to make known His salvation [Yeshua] and to thus save all men (John 3:16). That is why all the inhabitants of the earth can shout for joy and sing a new song to God, the sea and everything in it can rejoice, the rivers clap theirs hands and the mountains sing together for joy (Psalm 98:4-9).
