The forgiveness and the fear of God

"But forgiveness is found in You, so that you may be feared" (Psalm 130:4).

Forgiveness, coming from the grace of God, leads us to have fear of God. When we fully understand the seriousness of our sins and the power of forgiveness, we see how God could have cast us aside. But, on the contrary, He has chosen to love us with all His grace so that we may have greater respect and praise for Him.

According to Deuteronomy 10:12, fear of God produces:

• love,

• service,

• a walk with God, with all our heart and soul.
