Learning like a disciple

by Jean-Louis Coraboeuf

"Now learn this parable from the fig tree: when its branches have already become tender and put forth leaves, you know that summer is near" (Mark 13:28).

There are several ways of learning, one of which is explained here by Jesus “Learn like a disciple, for he pays attention to his master”. In effect, if we are not disciples of Christ, we will never be taught directly by God (John 6:45).

We must therefore know the mind of Christ in order to receive the interpretation of the parables that God provides on our life’s journey. Every accomplished disciple will then be like his master (Luke 6:40)!
