He alone

by Vanessa

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all" (2 Corinthians 13:13).

We can measure our capacity to live in the grace of Jesus, in the Love of the Father and the Revelation of the Word, by the extent of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. He alone is the Channel! He alone can reveal to us the profound meaning of His Word, that comes from the heart of the Father and the sacrifice of Jesus. He is the key to the vault indispensable for the fullness of our Christian life. He waits for us to invite Him and to appeal to Him!

According to this verse, without the Holy Spirit we place ourselves irredeemably under the law in three areas:

  • judgement instead of love,

  • guilt and proper justice instead of grace,

  • blindness instead of revelation.

But if we allow ourselves to be counselled and inspired by the Holy Spirit, we will be granted access to a measure of love, grace and revelation that it is humanly impossible to attain.
