"And so we have the prophetic word
confirmed which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a
dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your
hearts" (2 Peter 1:19).
In the language of the Bible the word "revelation" means
"to take off the veil, make clearer, explain, instruct and
warn". Certain words in the Bible have been kept secret and
sealed until the time of the end (Daniel 12:9). But the Holy
Spirit is at work to reveal what has been kept hidden until now
and which we need to know for the times in which we are living.
The revelation is increasing because we are near to the return of
Jesus Christ, and because the Church, the Bride of Christ, needs
to be prepared and to be purified by the water of the Word to
appear glorious before Him, without spot or wrinkle, holy and
blameless (Ephesians 5:26-27).
